Aimee Oldenburg, Co-Founder/Chief Executive Officer
With more than 12 years of experience in the remediation industry, Aimee Oldenburg founded Restored Roots Remediation with a mission to provide a more supportive, transparent, and client-centered approach to remediation services. Having worked closely for many years with individuals affected by CIRS, MCS, and other mold-related sensitivities, she understands how overwhelming the process can feel for homeowners trying to navigate health concerns, technical information, and uncertainty all at once.
Throughout her career, Aimee recognized that many clients wished they had clearer guidance, more consistency, and additional options—especially when it came to small particulate cleanup (SPC). With a strong foundation in operational leadership and client advocacy, she envisioned a company that prioritizes thoughtful communication, education, and solutions rooted in transparency, non-toxicity, and compassion. Her commitment is to ensure that clients feel supported, informed, and empowered to make decisions that are right for their homes and their families. Above all, she believes that trust is earned through honesty, reliability, and a willingness to stand beside clients every step of the way.
At Restored Roots Remediation, Aimee leads with steadiness, empathy, and a dedication to elevating the standard of care within the field. She is known for listening deeply, offering guidance without pressure, and ensuring that every project reflects the company’s core values—Transparency, Non-Toxicity, Consistency, and Compassion. Her goal is for clients to feel protected, respected, and confident that they have a partner who will advocate for their wellbeing. She is certified in CIRS-X remediation techniques and leads her team with precision.
Outside of her professional work, Aimee enjoys a full and joyful life with her husband Craig, daughter Linzi, and son Tristan. Together, they love camping, exploring lakes and rivers, taking day trips, and gathering for board games. Aimee loves reading, gardening, problem-solving, and proudly embraces her inner nerd—especially her love for Harry Potter, puzzles, Legos, and computers. Their home is shared with five adored cats—Luna, Lucius, Willow, Bellatrix, and Maddie (“Mad-Eye”)—and the family are passionate animal advocates. One of their dreams is to someday open an animal sanctuary dedicated to elderly, disabled, or discarded animals who need a safe and loving place to land.
Aimee brings the same compassion, curiosity, and integrity to her work that she brings to her home life. For her, Restored Roots Remediation is more than a business—it is a reflection of her belief that people deserve kindness, clarity, and care during some of the most stressful moments of homeownership, and that healing environments begin with honesty and heart.
