Our Story

Restored Roots was born from frustration — and from hope.

After years in the restoration and construction industry, our founders saw the same problems again and again:

• A lack of consistency in remediation standards and quality from one company to the next

• Clients suffering from health effects being dismissed, misled, or taken advantage of

• Toxic chemicals used to “treat” rather than truly clean

• And homeowners left more confused — and sometimes sicker — than when they started

Aimee Oldenburg, after more than a decade in environmental remediation leadership, saw how clients with serious health challenges were being underserved by an industry that lacked empathy, structure, and transparency. Determined to change that, she launched Restored Roots Consulting to help homeowners and professionals navigate remediation standards — and later expanded that mission through Restored Roots Remediation, combining education with action.

Abraham Rodriguez, with years of experience owning and managing a successful construction company, joined as Chief Construction Officer and brought invaluable insight into project planning, structural systems, and client communication. His knowledge of building performance and construction management helps ensure every Restored Roots project is approached with precision, safety, and efficiency.

Together, they set out to build something different — a remediation company that combined health-centered methods, technical accuracy, and genuine compassion.

That vision became Restored Roots Remediation — restoring not just structures, but trust and well-being.
